Utility products FAQ
Questions, answered.
What is a concrete deck block used for?
A deck block gives deck posts and beams a quick, sturdy base without pouring concrete footings. You set it in place and build on top, which makes it popular for ground-level decks, sheds, and small structures.
Do I need to dig footings under a pier block?
For many light structures, no. A pier block sits on level, compacted ground and spreads the load, so there is no digging or concrete pouring. For permanent or heavily loaded builds, always follow your local building code.
Are your trailer pads reinforced?
Yes. Every trailer pad is reinforced with rebar so it handles heavy loads and harsh weather, which makes it suitable as a foundation pad under a mobile home.
